I was just on my way to make an appointment last week after leaving my primary doctors office down the hall when Dr Gurram's office tech gave me the sad news. I was just telling my primary doctor how I needed to see him and follow up after my breast cancer. I was saying how Dr Gurram made me laugh when he put me through the stress test. I'm was walking one min on the treadmill and the nurse had just changed it to go faster so it made me start running. Dr. Gurram walks in and say 'oh, Ms. Gomez that's good your running' I said 'doc, not by choice, it because my legs are short' and he just laughed so hard. He says "keep it up" I was just getting my first check ups with him and through it all he always smiled and made you feel welcome. God speed Dr Gurram, thank you for caring and always giving of yourself to others. You will be truly be missed. My prayers and condolences to his wife and kids and his family.

I am extremely saddened and shaken to hear of Dr. Gurrams passing  My husband was a patient of his. We met him Nov 2020 my husband had lived the past 20 yrs of his life with 38% of his heart. It had gone down to 25%. Dr Gurram guaranteed me that he could make my husband better and after 2 stints he bought him up to 50% allowing him to enjoy 2 1/2 yrs he would’ve probably never had. He was so companionate and talked to us as he had known us for years. He was a diamond of a human being. He certainly used his knowledge as a gift to all he could help. Our sincere condolences go out to his family. May he rest in peace. 💐

I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Gurram's passing.  I just heard about this today.  He has been my cardiologist since 2018 after undergoing quadruple by-pass surgery.   He was such a wonderful doctor who truly cared for my wellbeing.   He was so kind and helpful to me.  He will be missed by all and our fervent prayers are going out for him and his family. We were so sorry to hear the news of Dr Gurram’s passing. He was such a wonderful Dr and person! He saved my husbands life by putting in 3 stents 5 years ago after my husband had a heart attack and I am so very grateful to him. My husband is 62 now. Dr Gurram will be greatly missed. Dr G was my husband’s cardiologist. My husband had very high BP in 2016. We ended up at Connally Hospital ER. I gave the attending physician Dr G phone #. Dr G was called/ he delegated and my husband ambulance where he met us there. My husband lived & has had a beautiful life / thanks to Dr Gs quick action. The surgeon was called in for s CABG and Dr G was there the whole time. We’re sorry to hear the notice that he passed away. May he RIP! I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Gurram's passing.  I received a letter and was very shocked.  I saw him when my doctor and I had a scare and he took care of me and assured me everything was okay.  He was very good at making me feel comfortable and made sure I understood everything he was explaining and how to continue.

We are saddened by the passing of Dr Gurram.  He was a wonderful Dr & a very caring person.  He saved my husband’s life just a few months ago by quickly scheduling a heart catherization & placing 2 stents in a 90-99% blocked LAD artery.  Our hearts go out to Dr Gurram’s family. Dr Gurram wore an infectious smile.   I'll always treasure the day he introduced myself and the staff at NE Cardiology to Indian food in 2011.   One of the dishes we shared had pink rice and goat curry; it was pure fire!  As I looked across the table sharing a great lunch with my coworkers I realized just how blessed I was to have such a work family.  I'll always remember Dr Gurram was passionate about medicine, patient care, and fairness.
