Duane Norgard Denison

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Denison Sr., brother Darwin Norgard, and sister Myrna Mcully.

Duane’s life was a testament to her devotion to her family and friends. She loved the Lord her Savior and shared her unwavering faith with all who knew her.

Survivors include her son, Charles Denison Jr. (Bethany), daughter Sharon Denison (Mark), four grandchildren, Kristy Denison, Brandy Belicek (Ethan), Lindsey Scheel (Matt), Charles Denison III (Michelle), eleven great-grandchildren, Reed Reininger, Richard Smith, Cheyenne Smith, Micah Smith, Brynlee Belicek, Blaine Belicek, Kambrie Scheel, Colton Scheel, Carnegie Denison, Cornell Denison, and Creighton Denison.

A visitation for Duane will be held at Sunset Funeral Home 1701 Austin Hwy San Antonio, TX 78218 on Friday May 9th, 2025, at 12 pm with a funeral service to start at 1:30 pm and a graveside service to follow. A reception with refreshments provided by the family will be held in the Lonestar Reception Hall at Sunset funeral home from 3-5 pm following services.

The family would like to thank her oldest granddaughter, Kristy, who moved in with her Mamaw to care for her these last three years. The family would also like to extend their appreciation to Vitas Hospice for their help over the last few months of her life.

Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Denison III, Ethan Belicek, Matt Scheel, Reed Reininger, Richard Smith, and Micah Smith.
