Earl Thelen

He was preceded in death by, his loving wife, Carol; sister, Patsy Tigges; and brother, Lyle Thelen. Earl is survived by his sons, Stephen L. Thelen and wife, Gina of Plano, Texas, Keith J. Thelen and wife Janet of Adkins, Texas, Gary D. Thelen and wife, Anne of La Vernia, Texas, Nicholas P. Thelen and wife, Felicia of Scotts Valley, California, Scott A. Thelen and wife Janine of Round Rock, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and 9 siblings.

Earl was a corporate executive in the telecommunications industry, served in the U.S. Army Airborne Division from 1954 through 1957, and active Reserves through 1962.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011, at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel.
