She is preceded in death by her parents. Edith is survived by her husband of 63 years, Norman C. Thomas; son, J. Norman Thomas and wife, Brenda and their son, Frazar Thomas; daughter, Edith Shelley and husband, Denis and their children, Sommer Zimmerman and her husband, Colin and their children, Caleb and Kylie and Sterling DeRusso and husband, John; son, Sterling F.J. Thomas and wife, Brenda and their son, Gus Thomas; son, George C. Thomas and wife, Terri and children, Meredith and Amelia Thomas; brother, John Frazar and wife, Ceil.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Porter Loring North.
