

Edward Marshall Connolly of San Antonio, TX - Edward "Ed", 71, born on June 25, 1947 in Charleston, South Carolina, to the late Edward and Elsie Connolly, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Growing up in Charleston, SC, Ed graduated from Charleston High School in 1965. Upon graduation, Ed worked as a Service Station Attendant for 2 years before joining the U.S. Air Force in 1967 as an Aircraft Maintainer. During his 26-year enlistment, Ed served in the Vietnam, and Gulf wars, ultimately retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant in San Antonio, TX in 1993. In addition to enjoying time with his family and friends, Ed had many hobbies including basketball, racquetball, tennis, golf, bowling, cards, and recently bird watching.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brothers, Doland Connolly, Robert Singletary, Marion Connolly, and Mark Connolly. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy Connolly of San Antonio, Texas; his sons, David Connolly, William Aldridge (Danielle), Donny Aldridge (Charlene) and Jeromy Aldridge all of Texas; his daughters, Lisa DeCandia (Kris) of North Carolina and Jennifer Randlett (Greg) of Ohio; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; his brothers, Michael Connolly (Elsie) of Delaware, Jerry Connolly (Susan) of South Carolina; his sisters, Barbara Singletary, Mary Connolly, Annette Connolly, and Jeannette Cobb all of South Carolina. He also leaves behind his adored dog, Tiny.
