Edward (Eddie) was born on November 28th, 1956, in Michigan to his mother Janet and father Edmond. He was raised in Michigan before moving to Florida to play golf at Florida Southern College, later becoming a golf pro in Plant City at Walden Lake Country Club where he met and married Tami. He and Tami then moved to Colorado, to work for Mannheim Auto Auction eventually landing in Texas where they raised 4 children.
Eddie was known for his outgoing character and life of the party attitude. Once you met him, he was a friend for life. He was also known for his big heart for others and pride for his kids and grandkids.
Eddie is survived by his wife Tami; Children, Nicholas Piatnik, Page Morrow (Tucker) Jaimie Piatnik, and Shane Piatnik; Grandchildren Asher, Ezra and Noa Morrow; Mother and Stepfather, Janet and Luke Anastasakis; Brother Mike Piatnik (Robin); Sisters Marcia (Richie) Appell and Janny Piatnik.
He is proceeded in death by his Father, Edmond Joseph Piatnik.
He is also remembered by his friends he regularly played golf with, and the countless friends, co-workers and neighbors who saw him as family.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, June 26th, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., at The Pavilion at Canyon Springs Golf Club, 24405 Wilderness Oak, San Antonio, TX 78260.
