I was sorry to hear of Eileen's death. I knew Eileen and Bob during our days at UNO. She was a kind person who brought joy to those around her.

I remember Eileen best from high school years. She helped me survive and pass French 3 in our junior year. A terrific person, old friend, andlong ago classmate. We had recently found each other through classmates and have been talking ever since, via emails and phone calls. I will miss her

To John, Micheal, and Elizabeth: Eileen was a joy to know. She was my supervisor, and so much more. We spent time talking about our children, cooking, local politics, and many other things not applicable to work, i.e. Micheal's jokes. She believed in the work place being more than just a place to come to work. Because of her vision and methods, our Life Support team had an opportunity to bring our children, and grandchildren to work on childrens' day, tour the Base Museum, and received a briefing on all of the things we saw. She also made sure we experienced the pleasure of a lot of neat restaurants; for birthdays we received a cake, "money" in our birthday card, and lunch (which we funded). We saw areas of the city that we may not have otherwise seen, to include where she lived. I found Eileen to be a warm and caring person and she will always live on in a wonderful way in my heart. May God give you comfort and understanding in the many days to come. During this greiving period, it truly helps to focus on all the fun times and the good times you had together. May God bless and keep you.

In the short time that I knew Eileen King, I was impressed by her kind spirit. I knew Eileen through work as a contractor, but Eileen was such a poised lady who exhibited characteristics that we should all strive to have. She was an example to me. I will miss her as she had a presence that few have. What a remarkable person and those who truly knew her must have experienced so much goodness because of her.

Although you love her deeply you could not make her stay. A Golden Heart stopped beating, hard working hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us that HE only takes the best.

Eileen worked with my mother Linda Torres at Kelly AFB. She went to see my mom at Warm Springs in 2003 when my mother suffered from a brain hemorrhage. My mom passed 3 yrs later but we should of let her go at the time. They are both in a far better place now. Eileen was a beautiful lady. I shall always remember her smile.

I worked with Eileen during her tour of duies at AFCEE and never meet a finer person to work with or be around. She was a fine supervisor and a great friend. God Blessed with her with great understanding and a peace soul.

There are many times in our lives that we must wonder "why" and this is most certainly one of those moments. Eileen's life enriched all who knew her, in all avenues of life, and we are all blessed by the way she touched us all. She will be missed by friends, colleagues, and her loving family. I was Eileen's former secretary when we worked at Kelly. She was the most well loved individual in our office, everyone thought the world of her. She will be sorely miss by me.

Eileen and I worked together for a short period of time and I appreciated her attitude and devotion to the job. She and I would occasionally share a funny Email or talk on the phone about something amusing; it seemed as if she was very much a person who got everything she could out of life. Her passing is a tremendous loss to all who knew her.

Eileen was one of the most pleasant people I have had the pleasure of working with. Even though her time with the Kansas City District was short she was well thought of. Her expertise will be sadly missed.

As my first supervisor in Contracting, Eileen instilled in me the belief that I can be successful in this field. Throughout my career she continued encouraging me. I met Eileen when working on a Mentor-Protege Program with Boeing. She was a terrific lady and our protege companies and others at Boeing loved her dearly. I thought the world of her and will miss her very much.
