Eldean Hobbs

Eldean Elaine Hobbs-Bryan, 60, of Universal City, Texas passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 1:02 pm at Bridgemoor Transition Care in San Antonio, TX. She was born October 29, 1961 to Gary and Floy Bryan of Kittery, Maine.

Eldean is preceded in death by her older brother Timothy Allen Bryan and Father, Gary Lavern Bryan.

She is survived by her two children, William Hobbs of Universal City and Lindsi Hobbs of Universal City. Her mother, Floy Bryan of Austin, her sister Valerie Bryan of Austin and her youngest brother Aaron Bryan also from Austin. Eldean-(Nana) had four grandsons, Timothy, Rudy, Tristian, Skylar and granddaughter Yvette, and nieces Ajay Michalek, Ava Bryan and great niece Abigail Michalek, of Dripping Springs, Texas along with many other dear relatives and friends.

Eldean battled cancer for 12 years and was in remission at the time of her death and we would like to thank all of her amazing doctors and nurses who took care of her, she loved them like family.

Eldean’s favorite place was to go the beach anytime she could, as long as it was with her family and friends. Eldean was a true lover of people and made friends wherever she went. Her smile was delightful, and everyone who knew her was touched by her joy, open heart, and generous spirit. Her passing has left an enormous chasm in our lives. She will be missed by all that knew her.

The visitation will take place at Victory Assembly of God, 1017 W. Bryd Blvd. Universal City, TX 78148 from 4 to 7 p.m. on March 4, 2022. A graveside service will take place at Cook Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home 6300 W William Cannon dr. Austin, TX 78749 at 11:00 a.m. on March 5, 2022
