Ellie was born August 9,1933, in Spokane, Washington, where she graduated from Nursing School as an RN. She loved to help people through her nursing vocation. She later moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where she married Cumberland Dugan in 1959, and raised a family of five children. A talented seamstress, she enjoyed demonstrating her love for her family through her talent with a needle, whether through sewing Halloween costumes, knitting Christmas stockings, or creating beautiful prom gowns for her daughters. She and her husband Cumberland moved their family from Baltimore to San Antonio, Texas, in the early 70s where she taught nursing at the University of the Incarnate Word. Ellie married Clark Raymond (C.R.) Morgan in 2000 after Cumberland died in 1996. She lived with C.R. in San Antonio until he passed away in 2009. After a long and frustrating journey with dementia, she died surrounded by the family she loved so much and is now at peace.
