

Elias Vasquez, 88, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Born in Karnes City, TX, to Rafael & Euqueria Vasquez he lived most of his life in San Antonio. He traveled the world while in the service. The family lived throughout the U.S. as well as Japan and Spain. Elias was a veteran of 3 wars, retired from the U.S. Air Force & the U.S Postal Service. He was a classic car enthusiast restoring cars from the rust up. His loving wife Guadalupe Vasquez preceded him 2 years ago. Elias was extremely loving and proud of his children, Olga Castillo (John), Diana Galvan (Naman) and Rafael Vasquez (Lilly). He is survived by his siblings Antonia Martinez and Martin Solis; grandkids, great grandkids, relatives and friends. Visitation will be Sunday April 3, 2016 from 5pm-9pm with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. Funeral procession departs from funeral home Monday April 4, 2016 for a 12 p.m. mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 159 Camino Santa Maria. Interment will follow in Ft.
