Elida Peche Barrientez, born on June 2, 1937 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on March 30, 2020 at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her mother, Leocadia Salas; husband, Cervando Barrientez, Sr.; son, Cervando Barrientez Jr.; daughter, Melinda Barrientez. Mrs. Barrientez is survived by her children; Johnny Barrientez (Luz), Rudy Barrientez (Barbara), Grace Barrientez Leos (Alex), Elizabeth Barrientez, Anthony Barrientez (Lidia) and Alex Leos (Carmen); also, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Angie Coronado. The Visitation will begin 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church, 3231 El Paso St., San Antonio, TX 78207 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2020 at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church. There will b no procession from the funeral home on Monday. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
