Her kindness, sense of humor and friendliness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Terry Ann Garcia Solis, and son-in-law, Richard. Elida also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Erica Escareño (Mike Jr.), Melissa Gonzales (Zeke III), Veronica Hernandez (Ruben), along with her step-grandchildren, Richard Solis Jr. and Laura Solis. She was blessed with great-grandchildren Stella, Zekey, Ezra, Helena, Zoey, and Luke, as well as step-great-grandchildren Aaron and Alyssa. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Teresa G. Hernandez, and her nephew, John Hernandez, whom she loved as a son, as well as many other numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Elida is now reunited in heaven with her husband, Domingo R. Garcia, and her parents, Ignacio and Hortencia Gonzales.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including spending time at the Presa Community Center, completing word search puzzles, playing bingo, and watching her favorite soap opera, General Hospital. Above all, she cherished being with her family and creating meaningful memories together.
Elida Gonzales Garcia will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
