

Elizabeth "Liz" Munroe, 91, passed peacefully in her sleep on May 28, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by her adoring family. She was born on March 18, 1926 to Kaloust Aijian and Siroon Philibosian in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a multi-talented artist and author, very involved in First Presbyterian Church. She married the love of her life, Tom Munroe, Jr., in 1952. The two were best friends, soul-mates and rarely apart from one another. Tom passed just twelve days prior to Liz; inseparable in this life and their Eternal Home in Heaven.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; her beloved and devoted husband, Tom; brother, Karl Aijian. Liz is survived by her brother, Richard Aijian (Vicki); loving children, Thomas Munroe III (Karen), Prissie Conner (Pat), and Laurie Prescott (Matt); grandchildren, Joshua Rollins, Jaalla Weir (Jason), Perry Conner (Emily), Joie Conner, Mike Conner, Thomas "Will" Munroe IV, Rachel Holmes (Jacob), Rebekah Smith (Ryan), Amy Beth Powell (Nick), Molly Mills (David), and Abigail Prescott; great-grandchildren, Jacey and Jaxon Weir, Jacoby and Emiline Holmes, Calix Smith, Zemirah Mills, and Eisley Munroe and many other extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Armenian Missionary Association of America.
