Elizabeth "Betty" Morris Salinas

Elizabeth “Betty” Morris Salinas, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. Betty was a long time Registered Nurse at Santa Rosa Hospital where she served and cared for the residents of the community. She was a graduate of Providence High School and San Antonio College. Betty loved her husband, her family, friends, and her cats also known as her fur babies. She was kind, witty and had a great sense of humor. Betty was preceded in death by, her beloved husband of 48 years, James L. Salinas; parents, Hortense and Marcello Morris; brother, Robert G. Morris (Yolanda V. Morris); and sister-in-law, Sandra Ramirez. She is survived by her brother, Richard Morris and his wife, Lilly, who both took loving care of her during her final days; nieces and nephew, Melanie Morris (Linda Barnes), Catherine M Baltz, Robert A. Morris (Dawnell), Suzie M. Kondylopoulos (Constantine), Patricia M. Santa Cruz (Carlos), and Barbara M. Middlebrook (Joe); great-nieces & nephews, Madeline, Patrick, Gabriela, Stavros, Maris, Robert, Jaron, Ryan, and Natalie; and her beloved cat, Amber. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Porter Loring Mortuary North. A procession will leave from Porter Loring North at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021.
