

Elvia was preceded in death by her father, Jose Alcazar, and her beloved daughter, Veronica Diaz.
She is survived by her loving family: her mother, Virginia Brenneman; her devoted husband, Roberto Diaz; her children, Kristina Diaz, David Diaz, and Michael Diaz; and her cherished granddaughter, Kira Kao-Diaz, who brought her immense joy.
Elvia completed her education through high school and dedicated her life to her family and work. She worked in sales and proudly supported her family as a military spouse. Above all, Elvia embraced her most meaningful roles as a devoted mother and grandmother, always placing her loved ones first.
Elvia had a creative and adventurous spirit. She found happiness in arts and crafts, cooking and baking meals for family gatherings, fishing, and traveling whenever she could. These passions reflected her love for bringing people together and creating lasting memories.
Elvia will be remembered for her generosity, her beautiful and gentle soul, and her pure and faithful heart. She was always caring, inspiring joy in those around her, and had a smile that brightened lives wherever she went. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at Sunset North Funeral Home, located at 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas, 78232, on February 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on February 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A committal service will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter #5, located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas, 78209, on February 10, 2026, from 1:45 pm to 2:15 pm.
