Emmon Ray Jr. Shaw

Emmon Ray Shaw, Jr., age 63, departed this life on January 28, 2002. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmon R. Shaw, Sr. and Dorothy M. Rose Shaw. Survivors include his brother, Donald P. Shaw; his friend and companion, John L. Shipley; his aunt, Betty Rose Fryman; several cousins and many friends. Emmon received a B.S. Degree from what is now Western Kentucky University in 1962. Most recently, he was managing the transportation department of SAS Shoes for the last 19 years. His final resting place will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in his Bloomington, Indiana birth place. He was well liked and respected by all who knew him. No hour was too late or no favor too great when his help was needed. Having a father in the military allowed him to travel greatly and recounting his adventures gave him great pleasure. He will be missed by all his many friends and loved ones.

The family wishes to thank all Emmon's friends that came to visit him and wishes to thank the staff at Chandler Hospice that cared for him.
