Ernest Anthony Schnuriger, born March 1, 1951 in San Antonio, TX, passed away at the age of 74 on February 25, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. Ernest lived his life rooted in Christ and his faith was the foundation of his life.
Ernest was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elva Guerra Schnuriger; his father, Francis W. Schnuriger; his mother, Lorene T. Schnuriger; and his brother, Emory.
He leaves behind children: Robert (Jodi) Schnuriger, Tatum (Michael) Rojas, and Meredith (Jonathan) King; his granddaughters, Rylee, Gemma, and Petra; and his brothers, John, Francis, and Bobby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Ernest’s legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
