Esperanza Hernandez, born September 18, 1949 in San Antonio, was called home to be with the Lord on March 12, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hipolito and Filomena Sanchez, brother Hipolito Sanchez Jr., and sister Consuelo Sanchez. Esperanza was very devoted to her family and leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Richard Hernandez; her children: Jose Sanchez Hernandez (Jenny), Ricardo Hernandez (Samantha); grandchildren: Ricardo III, Aidan, Vicente, Jose Jr., Mia, and Zoey; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to April and the staff of Amed Hospice.
A Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road beginning at 12:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m. and a Chapel Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. Services will conclude following the Chapel Service.
