Esperanza Herrera

Esperanza Herrera of San Antonio, Texas, born Sunday, October 21, 1951, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the age of 73 years. Esperanza was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a very generous and proud private person. She is preceded in death by her son, Edward O. Herrera; parents, Luis O’Campo Sr. and Angelita G. O’Campo; baby sister, Lilianna O’Campo; brother, Louis G. O’Campo Jr.; sister-in-law, Melva O’Campo; sister, Mary Cruz Wolton; her in-laws, Odilio and Alvina Herrera; and her devoted husband, Edward Herrera. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ann Hillberg (Eric); son, Eddie Herrera (Krystal); grandchildren, Gary Edward Hillberg, Krystina Herrera, Kalyssa Herrera, Kaylee Herrera, and Kehlani Herrera; sisters, Angie Cortez (David) and Cathy Vela; brother, David O’ Campo (Yolanda); sister-in-law, Mary Ann Ramos (Felix); brother-in-law, Jesse Herrera; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 9:30 am, at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas 78232.

Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78266.
