Estella C. Tenorio

Our beloved Estella C. Tenorio born on June 17, 1913 in Kyle, TX went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2012 at the age of 98. She was a seamstress for over 45 years. Some of her favorite hobbies were sewing, cooking, dancing, gardening, traveling and enjoying volunteer work at the Institute of Texan Cultures for over 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Estanislado and Elvira Tenorio; brothers and sister, Felix Tenorio, Henry C. Tenorio, Felipa Rivera, Ernest C. Tenorio, and John C. Tenorio. She is survived by her brother, Mike Lopez; cousin, Delia (Nena) Martinez; close friends, Manuela (Chata) Rodriguez and Elvira Cisneros; also, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members throughout the United States, and many friends. We will miss her gracious presence at all of our family gatherings. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a 7:00 p.m. Rosary that same evening. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church.
