She proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 and was a Veteran of WWII. While in the Navy,
Eula met her beloved husband, Dale William Irvin. She was working in the Tuberculosis Ward as a Pharmacist Mate and Dale was a patient in the ward. After WWII,
Eula attended Trinity University in San Antonio and was awarded a Master's degree in Education. She then raised 5 children while working as a Teacher and a Social Worker.
Eula is survived by her husband, Dale Willam Irvin of Marble Falls, TX; her children, Brian Duncan Irvin of Marble Falls, TX, Kevin Duane Irvin of Austin, TX, William Crosley Irvin of Courtland, OH, Karen Lee Irvin of Martinsburg, WV and Alison Dowler Irvin of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Eve, Jed and Nash, Sara and Felicia, Sharon and Alison Irvin.
