Eustaquio Gomez

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luciano Gomez and Salome Avalos and brothers, Manuel Gomez and Leon Gomez.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Dolores C. Gomez; daughter, Monica Rea (Gilbert); granddaughters, Danielle Rea, Bella Rea, Tori Rea and Leah Rea and his furry protectors, Luka and Pecan.

Mr. Gomez was a man of few words but it was through his actions that his family felt his loving heart. He was kind, caring, and patient. He loved his family and enjoyed great times with his loving granddaughters where he shared his silly attitude and never said no to any of their requests, like putting on makeup or painting his nails.

The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice for their care and assistance during this difficult time. They’d also like to thank family and friends that shared their compassion and support during his illness.

A visitation for Eustaquio will be held Monday, June 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd, 78211 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 11:30 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 4415 S. Flores, 78214 in interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
