Evangelina Campos

She graduated from Rio Grande City High School in 1946 and later attended Pan American University. Evangelina worked as a legal secretary for Pope and Pope Law Firm for 35 years. After retirement she worked for the Roma Independent School District.

She was known as Evita to her friends, she was very devoted to her parents, Pedro Campos and Josefina Sosa Campos.

Evangelina is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raul Campos; and sister, Otila C Reyna. She is survived by her brother, Rene Campos; sister Alicia C. Betz; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all her care givers who took excellent care of her.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
