Everest was married to his wife Norma Jean for 63 years. He served his country in the United States Army and was a passionate fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Mary; his wife, Norma Jean; his brother, Ernest; and his 2 sisters. He is survived by his sister, Lottie Weir; his brother, Daniel Woytasczyk; his children, Shirley Tarin and Pam Staton; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 27th at Sunset Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 9:00 am on Thursday, April 28th with burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
