Everett Oden Lewis, Jr. passed on to the life everlasting on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the age of 55. His wife, Kathy, and their only child, Amy, were at his bedside. He was born July 25, 1950 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Everett and Lois Louellen Lewis. He is survived by his parents, brother, and sister. After graduating from St. Mary's University, he went on to a 30 year career in the insurance industry. As a member of First Presbyterian Church he served as captain of one of the ushering teams. Everett was diagnosed with angiosarcoma in February 2005 and was an inspiration to many around him. The Lewis family would like to thank Everett's caregivers, doctors, and nurses for their concern and compassion.
