Fausto was born in Seguin, Texas and worked at Kelly Air Force Base for many years as an Electronic Specialist. Serving in both the Army and Air Force military branches, Fausto is a World War II veteran and was a member of the VFW post 8936 for many years. Fausto had a passion for playing pool, was a talented painter, played golf in his younger years, and never missed a Dallas Cowboys football game. He wore many hats as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. Those close to him enjoyed thoughtful conversations about life and current world events and he ran for city council, which isn’t surprising due to his interest in history, books, and his community. Fausto’s legacy will live on within the many generations of people that were privileged to know him and be impacted by his presence.
