

Felicita was welcomed into the loving arms of her husband, Carlos Rosas, sons Joseph and Freddy, parents Hiram and Petra Segrest, sister Dolores Segrest and brothers Hiram and Willie Segrest. She is survived by daughters Sylvia Dominguez (John), Dolores Stone (Robert), Veronica Rosas-Tatum (Charles), Carla Rosas (Anna). Grandchildren John Dominguez (Alanna), Joseph Rosas (Janet), Dana Haub (Andrew), Roy Tatum (Angy), David Dominguez (Erin) and Kayla Tatum. Great grandchildren Luke Rosas, JC Haub, Lyla Rosas, Jori Haub and Cora Dominguez.
Felicita’s kind heart and caring nature touched the lives of numerous extended family members, neighbors, friends and caregivers. She shared her wit, wisdom and humor with everyone she met. In support of the war effort during World War II, she worked packing C-Rations for the troops. She delighted in creating personalized messages to include in the packages. She spent her life devoted to family. She prided herself in caring for each of her six grandchildren. Some of her favorite pastimes were cooking, baking and gambling. Her specialty was the perfect lemon meringue pie.
She donated generously to bingos across the city and invested greatly in casinos from Nevada to Texas.
Please join us in thoughts, prayers or with your presence as we celebrate her life. Visitation will start at 6:00pm. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, November 3rd at 7:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road. Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, November 4th at 10:30am. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes,Texas. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. 2.
