Flip found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. He loved playing pool, hunting, fishing, wrestling, spending time at the beach, and going to the range to shoot. A true sports fanatic, he proudly cheered on the Texas Rangers and was a devoted fan of the UTSA Roadrunners. Of all the places he loved, his favorite in the world was AR Dam Ranch, where he felt most at home.
More than any hobby or pastime, Flip cherished his role as an uncle. He was incredibly proud of his nieces and loved them deeply. His family was the center of his world, and his presence brought strength, laughter, and loyalty to those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Rita Esquivel, and his aunt, Mary Helen Garcia.
Flip is survived by his father, Antonio Esquivel; his siblings, Laura Esquivel (Luis Reyes), Anna Esquivel (Adam Torres), and Ruben Esquivel; and his cherished nieces, Cadence Alexzandria Esquivel, Nyelli Christina Torres, and Andrea Izabella Reyes.
Felipe “Flip” Esquivel will be remembered for his strong spirit, his passions, his loyalty to his teams, and most of all, his love for family. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
