Fern E. Chick, age 71, of San Antonio, TX, died Sunday, September 1, 2002. Mrs. Chick was employed with the San Antonio Express News, The San Antonio Light and also worked as a freelance writer. She served in the U.S. Air Force in 1951 during the Korean War. Survivors include: sister, Helen C. Staples; brother, Charles E. Chick; several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews; as well as many dear friends.
