

Frances L. Goodloe passed away on March 11, 2013 at the age of 88. She was born on August 21, 1924 to Thomas Edgar and Macie Ferguson Jones in Nebo, Kentucky. After graduating as valedictorian of her Highschool, Frances married the love of her life William M. Goodloe, Sr. in Kentucky in 1945. In 1955 they moved to Texas and made San Antonio their home. Frances was the epitome for what a homemaker should be. She loved to sew, cook, took excellent care of her family, and had many hobbies. She enjoyed decorating with silk flowers, creating etchings, and played the harmonica and guitar.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William M. Goodloe, Sr., and 5 of her siblings. She is survived by her son William M. Goodloe, Jr. (Linda Goodloe), daughter Cheryl Goodloe Adams (Douglas M. Adams), son Rodney E. Goodloe( Elizabeth E. Goodloe), 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, sister Jane Stose and brother George Jones. She will be dearly missed by anyone who knew her.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 6-9pm at Sunset Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 12 pm with burial to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made either to the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation at http://texasnf.org, or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at http://www.nationalmssociety.org in Frances’ memory.
