Francisca H. Correa

She was born on April 29, 1934, in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas, Mexico, and was preceded in death by her parents, Rufino Hernandez and Benita Ochoa, her husband of 59 years, Valentin Correa, and her granddaughters, Janel and Courtney Oranday; siblings Francisca, Diego, Felipe, Macedonio, Jose Cuauhtemoc, Heriberto, Jose Maria "Chema," and Rogelia. Francisca is survived by her children, Juan Garza, Jose Garza, Oscar Hernandez and wife Linda, Nora Villareal, Jacqueline Casas and husband Trinidad, and her sister, Armandina Lomas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brenda, Valerie, Melanie, Crystal, Amanda, John, and Valerie G.; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom loved her dearly.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the sisters and Staff of St. Francis Nursing Home for their exceptional care and support of our beloved mother, "Panchita," during the last four years of her life.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday, February 9, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church, 3231 El Paso St., San Antonio, TX 782307. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III, 1735 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78226.
