Francisco G. Barrera Sr.

Francisco Garcia Barrera born July 25, 1930 in Roma, Texas, passed away on November 29, 2012 at the age of 82. He is preceded in death by the love of his life of 55 years that he recently lost on his birthday, Graciela Villarreal Barrera; his parents Francisco & Francisca Barrera, one brother, one sister and his great grandson, Manuel IV.

He is survived by his children Mario (Marie), Francisco (Oralia), Ramiro (Laura) and Norma (Manuel Cedillo); 10 grandchildren: Ramiro JR., Ruby, Francisco, Christina, Manuel III, Alexis, Richard, Brianna, Roman and Audriana; and 2 great grandchildren, Jasmine and Jonathan, one brother two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

He and his wife were well known for Barrera’s Bakery on Castroville Rd. for 47 years. He enjoyed watching his Dallas Cowboys, going to bingo and playing lotto, but most of all loved baking for his family till the very end.

Viewing will begin Sunday, December 02, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Trevino funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Procession will depart from Trevino Funeral Home, Monday at 8:30 a.m. to St. Jude Catholic Church for a 9:00 a.m. mass. Following the mass, burial will take place at Resurrection cemetery Cordi Marian 11624 Culebra Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78253
