Frank William Denny

Mr. Denny graduated from Baylor University. He was General Manager of Denny & Witt Mercantile Store in Moody, Texas for many years and also a funeral director for Denny & Witt Funeral Home. He also served as Mayor of Moody.

In November 1970, he was elected County Clerk of McLennan County, Waco, Texas, as which time her served for 25 years before retiring.

Mr. Denny was a member of Moody Masonic Lodge 568 York Masonic Rite Bodies, and a 32nd degree KCCH member of Waco Scottish Rite Bodies, as well as a member of Karem Shrine Temple and the Royal Order of Jesters.

Mr. Denny was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, the former Eloise King.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Hallie Ann Gaffney of San Antonio, Texas and two grandchildren, Mike Gaffney and wife, Nancy Gaffney, also of San Antonio and Susan Thornton, and husband, Bob Thornton, Jr., of Visalia, California; and four great-grandchildren, Michelle and Will Gaffney and Christopher and Jack Tanner Thornton.
