Frank C. Espiritu Jr.

Frank C. Espiritu, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was born on December 12, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas to parents, Frank and Dolores Espiritu. Frank is preceded by his parents; sister, Henrietta Puente; and niece, Lisa Ann Puente.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Virginia T. Espiritu; daughter, Justine Espiritu (w/ Thom Cruz); sons, Austin Espiritu (w/ Amelia Martinez), Justin and daughter-in-law, Delilah T. Espiritu; two grandsons, Giovanni and Jaspar Espiritu; two sisters, Linda E. Lopez (George), and Sonia E. Zapata (Joseph); brother-in-law, Benny Puente; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family; including goddaughter/niece, Krystal T. Gonzales.

Frank served in the SAFD for a total of 30 years, at fire stations 10’s, 44’s and retiring from 45’s, from June 1986 to April 2016. He served in the SAFD Honor Guard for several years and was a member of the SAFD Motorcycle Club.

He enjoyed many activities, especially playing softball, hunting, golfing, bike riding, riding his motorcycle, but his passion was woodworking.

But most of all, he was a devoted husband, he was blessed and proud to be the father of unexpected triplets. We were priority in his life.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm., Monday, April 7, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary, with a rosary to follow at time 7:00 pm.

The procession will be Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 9:00 am, at Porter Loring Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will follow at 9:30 am, at The Basilica of the Little Flower, 1715 N. Zarzamora.

Father Gregory Ross will officiate. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South.
