Frank Wayne Johnstone, 65, passed away on September 30, 2017 in San Antonio, TX. Frank was born on March 10, 1952 in Galveston and grew up in Alvin, TX. During his childhood, Frank was a natural athlete and lettered in baseball and basketball throughout his high school years. He excelled equally in academics, graduating from high school Summa Cum Laude. On a full scholarship to TCU for baseball, Frank was a two time All American pitcher and still holds the school records for career pitching victories and career complete games. Frank was inducted into the TCU Hall of Fame in 1991.
Frank opened and ran his own successful dental practice for 32 years in San Antonio and was well loved by his staff and patients.
He is preceded in death by parents, Malcolm and Anita Johnstone.
Frank is survived by his college sweetheart, Patricia; daughter Lauren, son Timothy and wife Kathryn and daughter Susan. Frank had two grandsons, James and Hudson.
He was the most wonderful husband, father and friend. He will be forever loved and missed by all.
