Dr. Lane was born in Jefferson, Texas to the parents of Elizabeth and Earl Lane. He graduated from Mcmurray College in Abilene, Texas. He attended Baylor University, College of Medicine from 1960-1964 completing his residency program in 1971.
Dr. Lane served as a Captain of Medical Corps during the Vietnam War. His excellence as a skilled physician along with his compassion and genuine concern for each of his patients earned him the well-deserved respect and admiration of the medical communities in which he practiced.
Dr. Lane was preceded in death by his father Earl Lane, his mother Elizabeth Lane and his brother Jack Lane.
Dr. Frank Lane is survived by his son Eric whom he loved and cherished with all of his heart; his former wife Deborah Levi Lane and his 3 adult children Mark Lane, Michael Lane and Kimberly Lane.
A graveside service was held in Beth El Memorial Park on March 16, 2014.
