

Frank Rodriguez, was born in San Antonio on May 21st, 1974 to Eliseo Rodriguez and Eufrasia Gomez Rodriguez. He was an Edgewood High School graduate in the class of 1992. He and his family resided in Pleasanton Texas, where his children grew up. He was a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart Lilia E. Casas Rodriguez for 20 years. He was a loving father to daughter Clarissa Rodriguez, and son Frank Rodriguez Jr.
Frank loved making others laugh and his personality could light up the room. He had a deep love for his family, friends, and most importantly his faith. Despite his hardships, and sickness Frank’s belief in the Lord remained. His strength, resilience, and spirit of faith will never be forgotten.
Frank had a hard-working and dedicated career in HVAC for companies such as Will Fix It, Airtron, Legacy, Gillette, and others. Frank was known for training and helping numerous technicians strive to be their best. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions. Though Frank may have not liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. Even though Frank liked to be perceived as a “tough guy” he was a big softy. He showed his emotions when he displayed his concern or love for those he loved. His smile displayed his passion for telling stories about his mother, growing up with his brothers, or the fun times with family and friends. He was a man of kindness, compassion, and generosity. He left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Frank was a magnetic force, he was loving, caring, attentive, and hilarious. If you were around Frank, you were guaranteed to laugh because he always had something funny to say. Frank had a passion for music, and loved everything from Mańa to 3 Doors Down, Elvis, Third Day, and Chris Stapleton. He loved playing his guitar and singing along to his favorite karaoke tunes.His love for music was something he shared with his children, leaving a mark on us that will never fade. He loved going to the coast to fish, and loved playing at the casino and winning big. Frank loved riding his Harley Davidson and also loved classic cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eliseo Rodriguez and Eufrasia Gomez Rodriguez, sister Rachel Galvan, sister in-law Maria Elena Casas (Ita), and wife, Lilia E. Casas Rodriguez whom he now joins in everlasting peace.
He is survived by his “Mi Amor” Christine Velasco, daughter Clarissa Rodriguez, son Frank Rodriguez Jr, brothers Ernest Rodriguez, (wife Veronica), Luis Rodriguez, (wife Liz), Joe Rodriguez, (wife Becky) and sister Rosemary Hagen, (husband Mike). In-Laws Daniel and Maria Elena Casas, sister in-law Emma Casas Valadez, and (husband Chilo.) He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as lots of friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
A Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:30am at Pollard Memorial United Methodist Church, 5303 Interstate 35 Access Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214. Followed by a Service at 11:30am. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 pm. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home Funeraria de Angel Trevino (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio TX, 78237) no later than 2pm on August 8th or directly to the church (Pollard Memorial United Methodist Church) after 9am on Saturday August 9th. The viewing will conclude at 3:00 pm, and the Celebration of Life will conclude at 4:30pm.
We find comfort in knowing that our fathers legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
