Lt. Col. Frank E. Ruggles, born in Bay City, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2022, son of Frank Tillotson Ruggles and Mae Hollabaugh graduated Bay City Michigan Central High School in 1951 attended the Ohio State University from Sept 1951 Dec 1955. Obtaining a Bachelors degree of Arts and Science.
Entered the U.S. Army in May 1956 and served thru Dec. 1976. Retiring in the grade of Lieutenant Colonel having completed 21 years of active duty service. Serving overseas with the United States Army in the Republic of Germany, Republic of South Korea followed by Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Thailand followed by the Republic of Turkey followed by final service in the Republic of Cambodia.
After retiring from the U.S. Army worked at Government Employees Credit Union followed by Gill Savings Association. He fully retired in 1980.
Lt.Col. Ruggles will be instate on January 30, 2022 from 11:15 A.M. 1:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary.
He will be laid to rest Monday, January 31, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Park.
