Frank H. Walton went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior on June 26, 2019.Frank was born to Thomas and Balla Walton on December 2, 1927 in Gardendale, TX. He was a devoted “Prince Charming” to his wife, loving father, grandfather,great grandfather, son, brother to his siblings, and loyal friend that will be dearly missed.
Frank enjoyed landscaping, fishing, hunting and spending time tending goats on the ranch with his beloved Gus “Pops” Schmidt. He dedicated several years to the U.S. Armed Forces and later retired from Kelly Air Force Base where he was Civil Service. He was a member of The Highland Hills Masonic Lodge of 60 years and was a strong man of God whose faith was a true testament to all.
Frank is preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 63 years, Katherine, his parents, his brothers and sisters and his in-law furbaby “Tiny”. He is survived by his daughter Brenda Boyd, his grandson Bryan Boyd, his wife Steffany, his great-grandson’s Logan and Blake Boyd.
Services under the direction of Sunset Funeral Home will include a Visitation on Monday July 1, 2019 from 5- 7 pm and a Funeral Service Tuesday July 2, 2019 at 12 pm with burial to immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
