ABBOTT Freda E. Abbott, age 86 of San Antonio, passed away peacefully, Sunday, July 26, 2009. She enjoyed art classes, with a special love of painting, flower gardening and fishing at the family lake house. Freda loved to entertain family and friends and hosted many annual fiesta parties. She was very supportive of her husband's career as the manager of the Menger Hotel. Freda is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Abbott; sisters, Marie Egerton, Erma Reuter; and brother, Lawrence Wyckoff. She is survived by her daughter, Regina Anderson of Kyle, TX; son, Gregory Abbott of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter, Courtney Anderson of Kyle, TX. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to The Lance Armstrong Foundation or The Alzheimer's Association.
