Grandpa, where do I begin.. for starters happy birthday! I love and miss you so so much. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. Even though you can't respond to me I know you're listening whenever I talk to you up there in heaven. I cherish all the memories that I have of you. Even though I was little when you passed I still remember a lot. You used to always bring grandma back butter fingers when you went to the corner store, I bring her them every time I remember to. You're the one that got me into animal planet, you would be watching it and laying down in your room and I would go and climb into bed and watch it with you. Every time I listen to I Can Only Imagine' it brings me to tears, sad yet happy tears because I know you're up there looking down on us and I know you're happy up there with our Lord. I have had one dream of you just a few months ago. I was outside and saw a shooting star and just thought of you. I began to pray and wasn't sure if you actually heard me when I talk to you so I prayed to God asking for a sign in any way shape or form. I just wanted to know if you could hear me and know that you were okay. God blessed me that night with a dream of you. You looked so young and youthful and just full of spirit. When you looked at me I know you remembered me. As soon as I saw you I instantly knew who you were even though I've never seen you that young before. I was so in shock that I didn't say or do anything I just took in the image of you right in front of me. I wish I would have hugged you or something but I'm blessed to have had that dream. I love you and miss you grandpa and we're taking good care of grandma for you. We all miss and love you and will see you again when our lord calls. God bless you grandpa.

Dad where do I begin it has been so long well it seems so long.It's been three 1/2 years, alot has happened, I am re-married to the most wonderful woman I know you would approve she is so good to me,as you would say she is my wifa for the rest of my lifa. I miss you so much! Even though life goes on it is still hard. My heart yearns to hug you, to hear you. I miss our talks. Mom say's she dreams of you I wish I did, I have a couple of times,I just wish they would be more frequent.I will write again soon.I Love You Dad,and yes I still Love You More!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dad I cannot believe that it has been almost two months since we you went to be with jesus. It is still very hard for me I think about you everyday definatly more than ten times a day. Sometimes I catch myself saying or thinking thatI have to call Dad, and then I realize that I am unable to physically , but I talk to you ads you know and I know you listen like you always have I miss your voice your laghter, your smile, I guess you can say that I miss everything. there is so much to say about my father he was just everything to me not only a father but a friend confidant and so much more i miss him so very much we would talk or see eachother almost everyday he taught me about life, and how to love and how important it is to alway's be there for your family. he loved his family and his friends, and I want to thank all who loved my father, My children will miss him also because he was just the best father grandfather but we will alway's have our memories and I will tell my children about my father always I loveyou dad and i know that you are with me and I LOVE YOU MORE

My grandpa was a loving and caring man. He would do anything for his family no matter how tired or sick he was. For me, I was raised by him and my grandma. He would take me to school, go to everything I has from christmas programs, birthday partys, and my 8th grade and high school graduation. He was always there for me. I will always love and miss him.

God has blessed your family in many ways. He gave you a husband,father,grandfather, and great- grandfather. As days go by it will seem hard to overcome the lost,but the pictures and memories are the things that will keep you strong.

This memory that I'm going to tell you is a memory I will never forget.... My Grandpa always uesd to kiss me on the lips,and always gave me a big scueez, and somtimes when I was at he's house, and the ice cream man used to come he always use to buy me something, even when I didn't want anything. He was the GREATEST Grandpa a girl could have,and I will never forget him.

Although I'm not related, please accept my condolences on the loss of your loved one. I'd like to also share a few biblical thoughts with your family. As you go through your days of grief, draw close to Jehovah God for He is the Father of all mercies and comfort. These words may be found in 2 Corinthians 1:3,4, and along that thought read Psalms 34:18, where it brings out how Jehovah is near those who are broken and crushed in spirit. And although you won't be able to laugh, talk or hold them again, the Bible assures us in the near future you'll be reunited with them again. Just as Jesus resurrected Lazarus, this powerful act will be fulfilled on a grander scale. John 5:21,28,29 But you may wonder , what happens to the pangs of death? It too will be done away with, no more sorrow, nor tears all the former things will pass. I truly hope that these scriptures help you as they have for me.
