Blessed with a remarkable work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit – George joined his family business Hall Sprinkler Co. at the age of fifteen. As a child, he would ride with his grandfather to deliver irrigation product and supplies from Houston to San Antonio. George eventually became the Branch Manager of the San Antonio office of Hall Sprinkler Co.
George was Licensed Irrigator #152 in the State of Texas. His license number is retired at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in Austin, Texas.
George and his wife Kelly started Hall Irrigation Systems in San Antonio Texas in 1993 and continued working together until the company was sold in 2014.
George spent his retirement years at his beloved “Hall Casa” – he was an avid gardener, tree trimmer, and of course fantastic irrigation repair man! Thanks to his friend Jordy he became very skilled with the electric chainsaw.
In addition to creating many travel memories with his daughter – George enjoyed spending time with his son and his son’s children. George was a great Uncle Jorge to his nieces and nephew. Both Kelly and George were proud to be Godparents of a fine young man who is carrying on the entrepreneurial spirit to this day!
George and Kelly were married for 31 years at the time of his passing and shared two beloved German Shepherds, Frankie and Ella.
