George Xavier Panketh, 68, went to be with his Lord on December 19, 2017. He was born in Karthedom, Cochin, India on February 14, 1949 to Xavier and Elizabeth Panketh. He spent almost 25 years as an administrator for Alamo Colleges and Our Lady of the Lake. He retired from Alamo Colleges as the Vice Chancellor of Fiscal Affairs. He is survived by his wife Mary Panketh; children: Preeya and Pradeep; his siblings: Joseph, Mary, Xavier, Anthony, Francis Sebastian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Sunset North Funeral Home 910 N Loop 1604 E on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1602 Thousand Oaks Dr. on December 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Procession will depart Sunset North at 10:30 a.m. on December 26, 2017 for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
