George Howard Robinson, age 89, passed away May 24, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Tishomingo, Oklahoma on September 29, 1924. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Faye Tribble Robinson, a daughter, Shellia Oelschlegel and a brother, Bobby R. Robinson. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wynona Robinson; son, Michael Lynn (Sandy) Robinson; daughter, Patricia (Larry ) Standlee; son-in-law, David Oelschlegel; grandchildren, David (Amanda) Robinson, Shawn Robinson, Jennifer (Joe) Neustaedter, Kaylinn Standlee, Marsha Griego, Jason (Jessica) Robinson, Sherry (Patrick) Reser and Wesley (Tonya) Standlee; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A celebration of life service will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 28, 2014. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:15 A.M. Thursday May 29, 2014 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Army military honors.
