George Flores San Miguel

George was a member of Mensa since age 15 years; graduate of Lanier High School at age 16 years, attended the University of Texas Tech and Texas A & M University; graduated from St. Mary’s University with a degree in Nuclear Physics; moved back to San Antonio in 1971 and resided in Leon Valley until his death.

George was preceded in death by his wife Rose Mary San Miguel and is survived by his children; Dr. George G. San Miguel and wife Lourdes, Bernard G. San Miguel and wife Gloria; Annette R. Ibarra and husband Henry, Jacqualine S. Hyland; grandchildren, Jason E. Ibarra, Page E. Ibarra and wife Amanda, George B. San Miguel and wife Courtney, Cory J. San Miguel and wife Rachel, Chase R. San Miguel; great-grandchildren, Eden Grace San Miguel, Zoe San Miguel, Kaden San Miguel, Landon San Miguel, Tristan E. Ibarra, and Brady N. Ibarra; sisters, Josephine Perez and Bertha San Miguel.

Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P..M with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. Interment will be at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery.
