Georgia Bell Flowers

Georgia Bell Flowers passed peacefully from this earth on August 30, 2018. She was born in Austin, Texas on June 14, 1933 to Mahue and Clara Dukes. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great friend who will be dearly missed.

Georgia was preceded in death by parents, her daughter, Linda Smith; sisters, Hudie Porter and Josephine Wilson and her beloved faithful dog, Buffy Flowers. She is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Edwin Paul Flowers; son, Anthony (Alma) Flowers; daughter, Marva Flowers; sister, Marie Mason and granddaughter, Karen Smith.

Services for Mrs. Flowers are scheduled for Friday September 7, 2018 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at East Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 502 Kayton Avenue, San Antonio, Texas officiated by Pastor Ruth Martin. A procession immediately following will lead Georgia Bell to her final place of rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
