Gerardo Garcia

Gerry spent his entire carrer working for the Federal Government, which took him across the country to various locations. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking and baking for his friends and family. He was also an avid gardner and took great pride in caring for his plants and flowers. We are thankful that we were all able to love him and that he was able to share his love with us.

Gerry was preceded in death by his parents, George H. Garcia and Celia Gonzalez; sister, Adriana G. Guardiola; brother, Dennis Garcia; sister, Celia Garcia; infant brother, Guadalupe Garcia; sister-in-law, Sonia Garcia; and sister-in-law, Yolanda Garcia.

He is survived by his husband and partner for more than 43 years, John J. Elsbree; brother, Jorge Juan Garcia; brother, Enrique Garcia & his wife Angie; brother-in-law, Leopoldo Guardiola Jr.; sister-in-law, Trudy Sallee; as well as nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends.

The family is hosting a private Celebration of Life ceremony in Gerrys honor.
