Gerardo Molina Hernandez, lovely known as Gera, entered into eternal rest with the Lord on April 16, 2025 at the tender age of 46. He was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on June 14, 1978 to parents, Sofia Hernandez and Francisco Molina. He was known for his love of soccer, his easygoing spirit, and the deep affection he held for his family.
Gerardo’s passion for soccer was unmatched—whether playing, watching, or teaching, it was a sport that brought him joy throughout his life. Gera was a fan of the Club Tigres de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, also known as Los Tigres. He especially loved playing pool and spending quality time with his grandchildren, taking particular pride in teaching the boys how to kick a ball, pass with purpose, and love the game just as much as he did.
He found great love and fulfillment in marrying his dear friend, Angelica Montoya, and together they built a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support. The couple got married in 2000, spending 25 loving years together. He embraced his wife's children as his own, guiding them with a steady hand and open heart.
Above all, Gerardo was a family man. His joy came from being surrounded by those he loved—whether it was cheering on a soccer match, sharing a quiet conversation, or simply being present. His gentle presence and strong devotion left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Gera will be reunited in heaven with his mother, Sofia Hernandez.
His memory will forever live in his loving wife, Angelica Molina; father, Francisco Molina; children, Sebastian (Jennifer), and Gabriela (Damien); grandchildren, Arianna, Amberlee, Jaydenn, and Nathan. Siblings, Juan Molina (Blanca), Luis Molina (Pilar), Carlos Molina, Flor Molina (Eduardo), and Adriana Regalado (Joe).
