She is preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Herlinda Cardenas; daughter, Linda; and granddaughter, Valerie Rose Juarez; and Tom Garcia.
She is survived by her son Daniel (Velma); son-in-law, Michael M. Juarez; daughter-in-law, Margie C. Garcia; comadre, Pauline M. Juarez. Grandsons, Daniel Castañeda (Jennifer), Timothy Castañeda (Jessica), and Michael R. Juarez (Jada and Bennett); great-grandsons, Jacob Castañeda, Mitchell Castañeda and Trevor Castañeda; great-granddaughter, Cameron Castañeda and Madison Castañeda; her faithful sidekick, BabyCakes; in-laws and extended family in other states.
