A life long native of San Antonio, Gloria M. Cranford was born on March 21, 1937 to the late Felicitas P. Hernandez and Marcelino Mendez. She enjoyed a career in Civil Service at the local military bases, as librarian, clerical typist, and secretary, and retired early at the age of 55. Gloria was close to her Church community at Live Oak First Baptist Church, and enjoyed joining their fellowship events. Gloria loved her family and friends dearly, was a loving wife to Clifton, and a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She’ll be dearly missed by all as she joins her loved ones that preceded her into heaven.
